Dr. Ismail Cem Yilmaz studied Molecular Biology and Genetics with High Honors, Middle East Technical University, Ankara (Turkey). He finished his master in Biology, Middle East Technical University, Ankara (Turkey). His PhD is in Biology, Middle East Technical University, Ankara (Turkey). He was Teaching and
Research Assistant, METU, Department of Biological Sciences, Ankara, Turkey between 2011-2020. Later between 2020-2022 he worked as Postdoctoral Researcher, Laboratory of Prof. Dr. Ihsan Gursel, Bilkent University, Department of Molecular Biology and
Genetics, Ankara, Turkey. Currently he is Senior Researcher, Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center, Izmir, Turkey. His M.Sc. Thesis is “A study on induction of minicell formation by FtsZ overproducing L-form E. coli, February 2014, Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Gulay Ozcengiz, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey and Co supervisor: Prof. Dr. Mayda Gursel, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey”.
